Portland Drop Off
We are happy to announce that we will have a CSA drop off point in Portland during the 2010 summer CSA season.
Location
The exact location has not been determined. We are still looking for a location that will best serve our Portland area members. Please feel free to suggest locations such as church basements where we could hold the drop off. We would prefer a location where we can set up indoors, protected from direct hot sun and rain.
Day and Time
Because of our wholesale deliveries and CSA pick up at the farm, Wednesday is the only day we have available for this year. The exact time has not been determined, but the current thinking is to make the drop off on Wednesdays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, or 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The goal is to select the time so that it will best benefit the largest number of members.
What We'll Have At The Drop Off
All of our vegetable products will be available at the drop off. We will offer the same choices at the drop off as we do for those who come to the farm to pick up their share. The berries, meats, cheeses, coffee, eggs, and other products from our local farm partners will be available too. The farm will be open on Saturdays for members who wish to come to Freeport to take advantage of the pick-your-own flowers, herbs, etc.
