Laughing Stock Farm is featured in this installment of MPBN's acclaimed news program "Maine Watch." The Lead for the program is: "Maine people spend $4 billion per year on food, most of which goes directly out of state (it's the second largest consumer expense in Maine behind energy spending). Lisa Elected as Treasurer of the Greater Freeport Chamber of Commerce
After a brief (6 month) respite from the board of the Greater Freeport Chamber of Commerce (GFCC) Lisa was re-elected to a 3 year term on the board in January and subsequently elected by her fellow board members to a 1 year term as treasurer. - December 2010 - Announcement
Triglyceride Burner Fuel Specification Passes Major Milestone
After 5 years in development, the long awaited "Standard Specification for Triglyceride Burner Fuels" passed the subcommittee level at the recent ASTM meeting in Jacksonville, Florida this month. From here the standard goes to the ASTM Main D02 Committee on Petroleum Products and Lubricants for its approval. Ralph is one of the co-chairs of the working group working to develop this standard.
